VR GAMEPLAY
Fatal Impact
Avoid a variety of projectiles designed to eliminate the player from play. The player will be able to damage the stadium and its various equipment to lower viewership, though some require the aid of the AR player. The player will experience several rounds that will alter their experience up until they are eliminated from play or successfully survive.
What they see
The player is situated on an isolated platform surrounded by turrets that will pop out and shoot at the player. Alongside this they will see a crowd of onlookers cheering/booing them within a stadium like environment, built to be visually appropriate for the chosen style.
Mechanics
Dodge projectiles atop an isolated position.
Deflect certain projectiles away using gauntlets. They can collide with objects to win prizes to increase the player’s prize pool for buying things off the black-market.
The player must survive until a win state is achieved.
Win States
Timer runs out without the VR player taking three hits.
AR player successfully takes over the mainframe.
Fail States
The player is hit five times by projectiles
